Nik’s Playback App is a photo and video player created for the film and television industry. It displays full-screen content without any UI elements, including photos, videos and device cameras, as well as colored screens with tracking marks to assist in postproduction replacement. Playlists can be played back in order and saved/loaded from memory.
Many tools are provided for image correction and manipulation, including:
-Stretch, scale and rotation
-Brightness, contrast, saturation and numeric white balance
-Video playback speed
Device settings are accessible in the app, such as:
-System brightness level
-Device orientation
-Proximity sensor for blacking out the screen
All commands can be mapped via hotkeys to an external bluetooth keyboard for remote control.
